Walking along the path

When you walk through the paths in the fields and the woods, you can meet or see lots of interesting things. This may be a piece of landscape that captures the eye, a plant that is highlighted by a ray of sunshine, an insect, a flower. These are all pleasant aspects of nature. Even where there has been human intervention, one can (sometimes) still find something interesting to see.

Strolling around, you may meet - apart from one or the other human bipedal - a lot of small animals that fill the edges of paths and forests with life.

Although black & white photos are lacking part of what makes the interest or beauty of these little creatures - the colour, it remains an appreciable subject. Especially when a ray of light enhances the view of these animals.

Fence that serves (also) as a scraper

Patched fence

This fence draws attention to the fact that the wires, usually of rust-black colour, are white by the effect of the counter-light. In addition, the said fence is open at the end, and no longer closes anything.

The fields, cultivated or used as pasture, are often carved by fencing of all kinds. Here, they are mainly iron or wooden stakes, with wire, barbed wire, sometimes electrified wires. In other countries or areas there may be hedges or stone walls to delimit the plots.
